OUR STORY

Venture North Trading Company - grassroots, community-driven, outdoor lifestyle brand focusing on the people, places and activities that make the outdoors great!

Venture North Trading Company was established in 2018 by us, founders, Kristy and Nigel out of our desire to create something special together that  would provide the opportunity to combine our love of the  outdoors with our passion for design. The idea was conceived several years prior while snowboarding in Colorado.

We met while attending the University of Minnesota Duluth, both drawn to the beauty and outdoor lifestyle of northern Minnesota. From there, adventure continued around our home state of Minnesota, as well as several years spent in the Pacific Northwest. Currently, if we are not working on new designs or planning our next adventure you might find us on a hike, out for a paddle or spending time with family and friends at the cabin. In the winter, it’s all about chasing that perfect powder day!

We want to share these passions with other adventure seekers, bringing people together to celebrate what makes the outdoors great.
